Why attend this Workshop


With greater focus on organizations to become "Greener" as well to increase overall competitiveness and bottom line, this workshop introduces greening strategies and applications that will support the operations environmental performance move from cost to cost avoidance. This workshop session will show participants that integrating Lean principles with green activities can provide substantial savings as a result of improved environmental performance. 

Workshop Scope

This hands-on workshop is designed specifically for organizations in Atlantic Canada. Participants will learn how to identify and engage internal resources to identify reduction opportunities in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions (Energy conservation and fuel reduction), water usage, Non-GHG emissions and process/domestic waste streams and improve bio-diversity. This workshop has been developed for participants that are at a beginner to intermediate level of understanding of both Lean and Environmental Sustainability foundations, and covers material relevant to employees from shop floor to top level management.

Who should attend:

Managers, Supervisors, Maintenance or individuals in public and private enterprise including middle to senior government personnel, managers from lending institutions, representatives of community and non-governmental organizations, manufacturers, oil and gas industry, engineers, scientists and consultants, who participate in environmental improvements within your company.
